The clinical analysis of the vision acuity after intraocular lens implantation with phacoemulsification.

Abstract

Objective To observe the factors that influence the visual acuity(VA) after intraocular lens(IOL) implantation with phacoemulsification.Methods A 1 month to 1 year following up study of 94 cases (118 eyes) who have implanted IOL.Results In the 118 eyes,corrected VA of 38 eyes(32%) is 1.0 or better,96 eyes (81%) is 0.5 or better.The factors influence the VA after implantation including corneal edema and decompensation,after cataract,uveitis and choroid detachment.Conclusions The results indicate that the phacoemulsification performed on eyes with cataract was one better way,reducing complication during operation are the key to improve VA after cataract surgery
