Abstract

On January 1 this year,the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Area was initiated.The roads connecting Yunnan of China and Vietnam have been the key land passageways connecting interior China and ASEAN,which attracts more and more attention.The study of the positive and negative factors related to the operation and development of Yunnan-Vietnam roads in the period of the Ming and Qing dynasties has much significance to the present operation and development of Yunnan-Vietnam roads.
