Inheritance and Development:Management of the South China Sea during the Yuan,Ming and Qing Dynasties

The establishment of traditional boundaries was the result of the planning and management of different dynasties.The management measures of the territorial waters of the South China Sea during the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties included the administrative control,the military patrol,the surveying and mapping of the islands suiting the needs of the times,which revealed a process of improvement in the management of this area and helped lay a solid foundation for the final establishment of the territorial waters of the South China Sea during the Yuan,Ming and Qing dynasties.
