Abstract
Box-Behnken central composite test and response surface methodology was used to optimize the extraction conditions of flavonoids from orange peel and AB-8 macroreticular adsorptive resin was used to refine the flavonoids. The antioxidation activity of the product was evaluated. The results showed that the optimum extracting solvent for flavonoids from orange peels was water, and solid to liquid ratio of 1 ∶ 38(g/mL) for an extraction duration of 2 h at 99 ℃.Under these conditions, the yield of flavonoids was 11.028 mg/g;AB-8 macroreticular adsorptive resin was showed to be a perfect adsorbent to refine the extracted flavonoids; It was proved that flavonoids from orange peel, especially the purified product, was a good natural antioxidant.
