Abstract
Objective To investigate the distribution and durg resistance of Klebsiella pneumoniae producting extended spectrum beta-lactamases (ESBLs) in hospital.Methods ESBLs was detected by NCCLS phenotypic confirmatory test in K.pneumoniae which were isolated from 2009-01-01 to 2009-12-31 in the hospital.Antimicrobial susceptibility was tests by Kirby-Bauer method.The distribution and drug resistance of stanins producing ESBLs was analyzed.Results The detection rate of K.pneumoniae producing ESBLs was34.4%.The distribution of specimens mainly came from sputum and respiratory secretions.ESBLs producing strains to imipenem resistance rate was 0% to piperacillin/tazobactam.Conclusion ESBLs producing bacteria to commonly used antibiotics in vitro antibacterial activity was significantly higher than that of non-ESBLs producing bacteria,carbapenem antibiotic imipenem infection in the treatment of strains producing ESBLs ideal drug.
