Abstract
In the first half of the nineteenth century,American women had little freedom because of their low social status and strict traditional morals,which resulted in one fact:American women had to wear clothes that men liked.Therefore,women's bodies were greatly restricted and harmed,which also strengthened women's weak images.From 1848 to 1920,American women launched the first women liberation movement,which helped women raise their social status,spiritually became free and independent,physically became healthy.The First American Women Liberation Movement had great influence on American Women's Fashion Revolution.
