Abstract

New Women was firstly published on January 1,1920 in Shanghai,which was established with the tremendous influence of New Youth and New Culture Movement,and because of the direct promotion of the May 4th Movement of 1919.New Women propagated the thought of women's liberation actively,attacked feudal marriage system vigorously,and advocated that women's movement should combine with labor movement.
