Abstract
Objective To investigate the expression of IL-17 and IL-22 in the serum of patients with psoriasis vulgaris and its correlationship with psoriasis area and severity index(PASI).Methods The expression of IL-17 and IL-22 was measured by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA) in 29 patients with psoriasis vulgaris and 11 normal controls.Results The expression of IL-17[21.255(37.181)pg/mL] in serum was higher than that in the normal control [7.464(29.880)pg/mL],The expression of IL-22[56.970(42.720)pg/mL] in serum was higher than that in the normal control [40.943(62.120)pg/mL],the expression of IL-17 in the progression stage group[30.884(41.433)pg/mL] was higher than that in the stationary stage group[14.225(22.831)pg/mL],the difference was statistically significant(all P0.05);The expression of IL-22 in the progression stage group[56.974(64.394)pg/mL] was higher than that in the stationary stage group[52.876(43.015)pg/mL],the difference was not statistically significant(P0.05);The expression of IL-17 and IL-22 and the clinical severity degree(PASI) had no linear correlation(P0.05).Conclusion The expression of IL-17 and IL-22 in the serum of patients with psoriasis vulgaris is up-regulated,so IL-17 and IL-22 may participate in the development of disease.but its and PASI score was not relevance.
