Feasibility Analysis of IEC 61850 Used as Substation Telecontrol Protocol

The necessity of building an integrated smart power network dispatching automation system is proposed.In addition,the necessity of integrated data communication between dispatching center and substation is presented,and the analysis on the problems of IEC 61970 and IEC 61850 data model,substation's diagram,telecontrol protocol,maintenance in the substation,subscribing/publish is also presented.The basic principles,the modeling method and communication service of telecontrol protocol based on IEC 61850 are proposed.On the basis of IEC 61850,the rule of model change between IEC 61850 and IEC 61970,realization method of maintenance in substation and subscribing/publish are put forward.
