Clinical Analysis for Localized Colposcopic Biopsy in the Diagnosis of Cervical Lesions

Abstract

Objective To analyze and explore the application value and clinical significance of colposcopy biopsy in the diagnosis of cervical lesions.Methods The clinical pathological data of 1 265 patients from January 2008 to July 2012 with biopsy under colposcopy were taken for retrospective analysis.The significance for colposcopic biopsy in the diagnosis of cervical lesions was taken for evaluation.Results 294 cases (23.24%) were confirmed with intraepithelial neoplasia variable (CIN) in the 1 265 cases of patients with colposcopic biopsy,in which 213 cases (16.84%) were CIN Ⅰ,58 cases (4.58%) were CIN Ⅱ,23 cases (1.82%) were CIN Ⅲ;32 patients (2.53%) had cervical cancer.In the patients with cervical cancer,the proportion of patients with severe cervical erosion was significantly higher than that of intraepithelial neoplasia patients,with statistically significant difference (P0.05).The patients with cervical atypical hyperplasia were more common at the age from 31 to 40,with a total of 144 cases;the next was 41 to 50 years old,with a total of 64 cases.Patients with cervical cancer were more common at the age from 41 to 60,with a total of 32 cases.Conclusion Colposcopic biopsy has important diagnostic value for early detection of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical cancer.
