Abstract

Objective:To study the level of serum CA72-4 in breast cancer patients before and after surgery and its clinical significance.Method:Serum level of CA72-4 were detected in 33 patients with breast cancer and 30 cases of benign breast disease by immunoradiometric assay(IRMA).Results:The serum levels of CA72-4 in breast cancer was higher than that of benign breast disease group, the difference was significant(P0.01).Conclusion:CA72-4 level is closely related to breast lesions, and the serum CA72-4 in serum of breast cancer may be a certain value for screening, diagnosis of breast cancer.
