Abstract
The two stage leaching process was adopted to leach manganese from manganese carbonate ores from Ghana. The leaching conditions were determined. The traditional acid leaching rate of manganese is only 80.77%,and the manganese content that had not been leached out in the acid leaching residue is as high as 10.62%.Using manganese electrolysis anolyte as leaching agent, the manganese leaching rate can reach 90.89%under the conditions of 40℃,70r/min and leaching 2h,and the manganese leaching rate can reach 96.59%under 60℃,150r/min and leaching 80 min.
