Abstract
OBJECTIVE To investigate the bacterial distribution and drug resistance of the bacteria isolated from blood culture and to provide the scientific evidence for clinical medication.METHODS Blood samples were cultured by using with Bact/ALERT120 automated culture system and pathogenic bacteria were identified with VITEK-32 automated bacteria identification instrument. The drug sensitivity test was performed by using Kirby-Bauer(K-B) method.RESULTS From Jan 2006 to Dec 2009,there were 576 strains isolated from positive culture, including 213 Gram-positive bacteriastrains(37%),330 Gram-negative bacteria strains(57.3%) and 33 fungi strains(5.7%).The main pathogenic bacteria were Coagulase negative satphylococcus(123 strains),Escherichia coli(72strains) and Klebsiella pneumoniae(57 strains).Methicillin-resistant Coagulase negative staphylococcus(MRCNS) and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus(MRSA) accounted for 78%and 46%,respectively;The detection rates of extended-spectrum β-lactamase(ESBLs)-producing E.coliand K.pneumoniaewere 52.8% and 42.1%,respectively;Drug resistant rates to MRCNS,MRSA and ESBLs-producing strains were all high.CONCLUSIONS The bacteria isolated from blood culture are widely distributed and the drug resistances are significant different. To monitor the isolated strains in early stage and analyze drug resistance is very necessary, which can provide important bases for the rational application of antibiotics and reduce the antibiotics abuse and drug resistant strains.
