Preliminary analysis on sperm factors of abortion

Abstract

Objective:To explore the sperm factors of abortion.Methods:The sperms of 156 men whose wives had spontaneous abortion and 80 men whose wives were in normal pregnancy were analysed by semen routine analysis,sperm morphology analysis and acridine orange fluorescent staining.Results:There was significant difference in the rates of sperm motility of grade a and grade a+b,perm density,sperm motility rate,the rates of normal sperm morphology, abnormal sperm morphology,sperm tail abnormalities and sperm DNA integrity between abortion group and control group(P0.05) .Conclusion:Sperm motility parameters,morphology parameters and sperm DNA damage is related to abortion.
