Abstract
The cultivation test was made to study the effect of different strains of Armillariella mellea on the yield of Gastrodiaelata. The results showed that different strains of Armillariella mellea had certain effect on the yield of Gastrodia elata. Strain M_1 provided by Yichang Microbiology Institute was screened out to be the optimum strain which greatly increased the yield of Gastrodia elata. Gastrodia elata cultivated with strain M_1 of A. mellea achieved the highest yield both in the indoor bottle cultivation and in the indoor ground casing cultivation.
