Abstract

[Objective]The aim was to study the control effect of 20% clothianidin.ethofenprox SC against rice planthopper in field.[Method] The control effects of 20% clothianidin.ethofenprox SC and 25% pymetrozine WP against rice planthopper were compared in paddy fields.[Result] The control effects of 20% clothianidin.ethofenprox SC on rice planthopper at dosage of 450 g / hm2 and 600 g / hm2 were 88.77% and 96.21% in three days after spraying,were 89.82% and 92.40% in seven days after spraying,and were 92.20% and 95.48% in 14 days after spraying,respectively.The control effect of 20% clothianidin.ethofenprox SC on rice planthopper had no significant difference with that of 25% pymetrozine WP at dosage of 300 g / hm2.[Conclusion]20% Clothianidin.ethofenprox SC can be taken as an alternative chemical to control rice planthopper.
