Abstract
Objective To investigate the efficacy of terbutaline combined with ambroxol hydrochloride in the treatment of asthma and evaluate its clinical application. Methods Eighty-four patients with asthma treated in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was given terbutaline and the observation group was given am broxol hydrochloride atomization on the basis of control group. The effective rate and the disappearance time of clinical symptoms of the two groups were compared. Results The observation group had an effective rate of 95.2%(40/42),which was higher than the 78.5%(33/42) of the control group. The disappearance time of clinical symptoms such as wheezing, coughing and chest tightness of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P 0.05).No significant adverse reaction was observed in either group and only dizziness and nausea appeared. Conclusion Terbutaline combined with ambroxol hydrochloride is fairly effective, safe and reliable and can improve the treatment effective rate and accelerate the disappearance of clinical symptoms in the treatment of patients with asthma, thus can be wildly applied in clinical practice.
