Abstract
Objective:To study the correlation of serum high sensitive C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and the severity of coronary heart disease(CHD).Methods:Eighty-five cases diagnosed with CHD by selected coronary angiography(SCA)were divided into three groups including single vessel lesion(31 cases),double vessel lesions(26 cases)and tri-vessel lesions(28 cases),thirty-two cases with nomal SCA were used as control. The serum content of hs-CRP was measured by latex agglutination turbidimetric method.Results:Hs-CRP was higher in the cases with CHD than that in control groups(P0.05).But there is no significant difference(P0.05)in the levles of hs-CRP among the three groups with CHD.Conclusion:The serum level of hs-CRP was higher in the groups of CHD than that in control grooups, but there is no correlation between the levels of hs-CRP and vessel lesion severity in the groups of CHD.
