Establishment of Wang Anshi's New Philosophy

Abstract

The establishment of Wang Anshi's new school has a sound foundation.First,from Wang Anshi's regulation of Taiji,Dao and Tian and his definition of the characteristics of Dao,we may recognize that Wang's philosophy logical structure is the pattern from Taiji,Dao,Tian to Yin,Yang,Chongqi,to Wuxing and to character.Secondly,Wang Anshi recognized the truth of life from Tian Dao to Man's Dao.After his analysis of the theories of Mengzi,Xunzi,Yangxiong and Hanyu,he put forth a new theory which explained not only tendency of everything's movement,but also the theoretical support of his reform.His new philosophy played a pushing role in the establishment of the new confucianism.His San Jing Xin Yi pioneered the old schools.
