Clinical Observation of Treatment with Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine on Perimenopausal Syndrome

Objective: To observe the curative effect of Pill of Xiao-yao combined with nilestriol on perimenopausal syndrome.Methods: 61 cases with perimenopausal syndrome were divided into two groups randomly.Treatment group was treated with Pill of Xiao-yao,9g each time and 2 times a day,combined with nilestriol,4mg each time and once every 2 weeks.Control group was treated with only nilestriol,4mg each time and once every 2 weeks.After 8 weeks E2,FSH,LH,curative effect and side effect were observed and analyzed before and after treatment.Results: The curative effective rate was 93.3% in treatment group,and 80.6% in control group.There was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).E2 was increased in the two groups after treatment,and the differences were significant between before and after treatment(P0.05,P0.01).After treatment FSH and LH were decreased to different extent in the two groups,but FSH in treatment group showed significant difference between before and after treatment(P0.05).After treatment E2 showed significant difference between the two groups(P0.05),but FSH and LH didn't(P0.05).The side effect was fewer in treatment group than in control group.Conclusion: Pill of Xiao-yao combined with nilestriol on perimenopausal syndrome can change the estrogen level so as to improve the patients' clinical symptoms.The effect is better than that of only nilestriol,as well as decrease the side effects caused by estrogen replacement therapy.
