Abstract
The effect of Cu2+ on digestive enzymes activity in hepatopancreas and intestine of Cyprinus carpio was studied. The results indicate that the sequence of protease activities from highest to lowest in the digestive organs was:heptoanecteas, midgut, hindgut and foregut; The sequence of amylase activities from highest to lowest in the digestive organs was:midgut, foregut, heptoanecteas and hindgut; The sequence of lipase activities from highest to lowest in the digestive organs was:heptoanecteas, hindgut, foregut and midgut; With the rise of Cu2 + concentration, the three digestive enzymes activities in four digestive organs all rised firstly and then went down;Protease and amylase activities in four digestive organs were all enhanced by Cu2 + of 0.28 and 0.56 mg/L,but these digestive enzymes activities were all inhibited by Cu2 + of 0.84 mg/L;Lipase activities in four digestive organs were all enhanced by Cu2 + of 0.28,0.56 and 0.84 mg/L;Protease activities in intestine were sensitive to the change of Cu2 + concentration,so it has the potential to be a bio-indicator for copper pollution in water environment.
