Abstract

Objective To study the relationship between serum sodium, serum total bile acid(TBA) and Child-Pugh's grade in patients with liver cirrhosis.Method The levels of serum sodium,TBA,albumin, bilirubin, prothrombin time, and B-ultrasound were measured in 61 patients with liver cirrhosis. Results It was showed that serum sodium was dropped,TBA was increased gradually with the degree of clinical liver cirrhosis deteriorated. Conclusion There are closely relationship between serum sodium and Child-Pugh's grade,TBA and Child-Pugh's grade.Measuring the concentration of serum sodium and TBA are of important reference value in predicting the degrees and prognosis of liver cirrhosis.
