An Analysis of the Local Government Performance Evaluation Based on Public Satisfaction

The local government is the fundamental part of the government system.The performance evaluation system of local government to an extend plays a key role in the innovation of evaluation mechanism of the whole government system,the transformation of government functions,and the improvement of government performance.The local government should set up a correct concept of political achievement and place local government performance evaluation under the direct of satisfaction.On the basis of taking the public satisfaction as the values and the central objective of government performance evaluation,the paper analyzes the difficulties and constraints facing the local government performance evaluation,and puts forward suggestions to optimize the local government performance evaluation in China's national conditions.
