Effect of lactoferrin on proliferation of human nasopharyngeal carcinoma cell line

Abstract

Objective:To explore the effect of lactoferrin on proliferation of the cultured CNE cells in vitro.Methods:MTT assay was used to evaluate the growth inhibition effect of lactoferrin on CNE,L02 and CHO cell lines.Results:Lactoferrin significantly inhibited the proliferation of CNE cells in a dose-dependent manner,but had no effect on the normal cells.Conclusion:Lactoferrin could significantly inhibit the growth of CNE cells.
