SOME THOUGHTS ON REFORM AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHEMICAL GEOLOGY AND MINE INDUSTRY

In the course of change over from plan economy toward market economy, the chemical geology and mine industry is confronting a series of difficulties and problems involving management system, micro controlling, investment system, price policies, operation mechanism, business distribution and products mixture, management of intermediate to small mines, way out of old mines, management of geological prospecting units, opening to the outside world, development strategy, and so on. Surmounting and solution of these difficulties and problems will be to strenthen manegement and conduct reform. Brought into full play its latent potentialities for development, supported by the state policies, and relying on its own doubled efforts, the industry is certain to have broad prospects for development.
