Abstract
In the presence of cationic surfactant CTMAB,the color reaction and photometric properties of 2,3,7-trihydroxy-9-(4,5-dibromo-o-nitro)phenylfluorone(DBONPF) with (tungsten(Ⅵ)) were studied. In 0.4 mol/L of H_2SO_4 medium, DBONPF reacts with (tungsten(Ⅵ)) form a red complex with stoichiometric ratio of 2∶1, a maximum absorption at 547 nm and an apparent molar absorptivity of 5.64×10~5L·mol~(-1)·cm~(-1), and the detection limit is 4.12 μg/L. The Beer law was obeyed in the range of 0~500 μg/L tungsten(Ⅵ). The method has been applied to the determination of tungsten in steel samples.
