Abstract

Objective:To investigate the use of antibiotics in the out-patient department(OPD) of our hospital.Methods:Use of the antibiotics of 5200 prescriptions of the internal medicine of OPD was analyzed in retrospect.Results:Of the 5200 prescriptions,3382 prescriptions contained antibiotics,accounting for 60.04%.Antibiotics for injection were overused and the dosage was fairly high,and the curative effects were not as good as expected.Among them,inject the anti-virus medicine usage frequency of a type over high and the amount of is opposite in consult the amount of is widespread and higher,moreover,the antibiotic expenses occupies the prescription curative effect between very big comparison in expenses in treatment in sufferer and anti-virus medicine in3382 usages and ignore to think.Conclusion:The percentage of antibiotics use was fairly high because doctors were inclined to prescribe drugs that are new and expensive,abusing antibiotics and increasing patients' financial burden.
