Abstract
OBJECTIVE To establish a method for determination of β-carotene in Damaicao Tablets by reversed-phase high performance liquid chromatography.METHODS Chromatographic conditions:using Capcell Pak UG120 C18(4.6mm×150mm,5um)as chromatographic column,methanol-acetonitrile(90∶10)as mobile phase;The flow rate was 2mL·min-1,detection wavelength was 450nm.RESULTS The method was proved to be linear in the ranger of 7~105μg·mL-1(r=0.9994),RSD was 1.27 %,the average recovery was 99.34%.CONCLUSION The method was simple,rapid,accurate,sensitive and reproducible.It was suitable for determination of β-carotene in Damaicao Tablets.
