Abstract
Objective To investigate the clinical value of radiofrequency catheter ablation(RFCA)for patients with supraventricular tachycardia(SVT) and to explore a practical and effective ablation procedure. Methods RFCA was used for 36 cases with supraventricular tachycardia. Results The successful rate of ablation SVT was 94.4%. The successful rate of ablating right accessory pathway was lower than that of left accessory pathway and slow pathway (75% vs 100% and 92.3%, P0.05).Two cases recurred and underwent ablation again during a mean follow up (26.5±23.8)months. Conclusions RFCA for patients with SVT is effective and safe.
