Abstract
Objective:To explore the effective methods of treating senile patients with constipation.Methods:106 patients over 60 years old were divided into two groups:the treatment group and the control group.60 cases in the treatment group were given orally Ruichang Tongbian Decoction while 46 cases in the control group were given orally Tongbianling Capsules.Results:The effective rate of the treatment group and the control group was respectively 95.00% and 67.39%.There was markedly significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).The effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.Conclusion:The effect of Ruichang Tongbian Decoction is marketable for treating senile patients with constipation.
