Abstract
Objective To explore the aggressive growth characteristics in invasive, proliferative, aged parts of keloid for analysis the RUNX3 index. Methods Analysis of RUNX3 index of difference parts in keloids and normal skin was explored using immunohistochemistry method in patient with fibroblasts of 16 keloids cases and 16 normal skin cases. Results The RUNX3 index of invasive parts in keloids were lower than that of proliferative, aged parts of keloid and normal skin(P0.05).The RUNX3 index of proliferative parts in keloids was lower than that of aged parts of keloid and normal skin(P0.05).But there was no sigificant deference between the aged parts of keloid and the normal skin(P0.05).Conclusion The difference in distributions of RUNX3 index may be one of the mechanisms accounting for the aggressive growth of keloid.
