The Inheritance and Development of the Yifan Festive Culture of the Mulao Ethnic Minority

The ceremony of the Yifan Festival of the Mulao Ethnic Minority is chaired by the rabbis of Meishan Religion. The inheritance of the festive culture, which is dependent on internal mechanism, underwent at least three stages, namely, the combination of the folk religion of the Mulao people and the Meishan Religion of the Yao people, the cultural sharing of the Han people and the Mulao people, and the inheritance within the common understanding of the government and the non-governmental organizations. In this process, the festival itself has experienced changes.
