Abstract
Objective To observe the effects of Curcumin on 4 kinds of common tumor cells. Methods MTT method was used to observe the inhibitory effects of 0,1,2,5,10,20,50 and 100 μmol·L-1Curcumin on 4 kinds of tumor cells(MCF-7,Hela,A549 and HepG-2) for 24,48 and 72 h. IC50at 72 h in different kinds of cells was calculated. Results Curcumin exerted inhibitory effects on the proliferation of MCF-7,Hela,A549 and HepG-2 cells. The anti-proliferation effect of Curcumin had a dose-effect relationship and was in a time-dependent manner. Conclusion Curcumin can inhibit the proliferation of multiple tumor cells.
