Abstract

The total flavonoids was Extracted from Smilax glabra by a enzyme-assisted hydrothermal method;Using Rutin as standard, the content of the total flavonoids was measured by ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometry with aluminum ion colour. The extraction ratio of total flavonoids was investigated as a main target. The effects of amount of enzyme, the solid-liquid ratio, extraction temperature and extraction times on the total extraction ratio of flavonoids were discussed by means of the single-factor experiment to optimize the extraction conditions. The results showed that: for the best extraction conditions the enzyme dosage is 2.0% with the solid-liquid ratio being 1:8 and extraction frequency being 3 times at 100 ℃.In the best conditions, the powder ratio of crude extraction is 14.0%,and the content of total flavonoids in this powder is up to 4.1% with the extract ratio of total flavonoids being 0.57%.
