Utilization of oral antihypertensive drugs in our hospital from 2008-2010

Abstract

Objective To investigate the usage of orally administered antihypertensive agents in the Community Health Service Center of Yibin.Methods The utilization of antihypertensive drugs in our hospital during the period 2008—2010 was analyzed in respect of the drug varieties,consumption sum and DDDs.Results The consumption sum of antihypertensive increased year by year.CCB and ACEI dominated the first place in terms of consumption sum and DDDs over the 3 years.Amlodipine,nifedipine and enalapril took the lead among all the kinds in terms of consumption sum and DDDs.Conclusion The utilization structure of oral antihypertensive drugs in our hospital is basically reasonable.
