Application Effects of Clinical Pathway in Patients with Operated Cataract

Objective To discuss the effects of clinical pathway in the cataract patients undergoing ultrasound emulsification and artificial lens planting.Methods One hundred and four patients were equally divided into group A and group B according to odd/even number of their hospitalization number.Group A received clinical nursing pathway and group B used conventional nursing.Results The mastery of heath knowledge and satisfaction level of group A were significantly higher than those in group B (P0.05),while the average hospitalization days and total expense of group A were lower than those in group B (P0.05).Conclusion Clinical pathway provides more effective guidance for whole nursing.Application of clinical pathway on cataract surgery could improve the satisfaction level of patients,shorten the hospitalization days,reduce the expense in hospital,so as to improve the nursing quality.
