Abstract
The mature embryo and the immature embryo choosen from three wheat varieties were cultivated to study the effect of variant genotypes and callus inducing mediums on callus induction and differentiation. The result showed that varient genotypes had certain effect on wheat callus induction, that wheats with varient genotypes had obvisously different ability in callus induction and differentiation , that the callus induction rate and differentiation of Shaan 280 was the highest among these wheat varieties. The ability of callus in the explants from the same variety varied after induction, and that the callus induction rate of immature embryo was higher than that of mature embryo.
