Abstract
The explants of wheat immature embryo of four wheat varieties were cultured in vitro conditions to study the effect factors on callus induction. The results showed that the difference of callus induction frequency among genotypes or mediums was not distinct, but the frequency and the quantity of embryonic callus were affected mainly by the genotype and the composition of medium. The hormone of ABA was disadvantageous to embryonic callus induction. The medium would be suited for embryonic callus induction if adding(0.5)mg/L KT or using 2,4-D in lower concentration.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
