Abstract

[Objective]To observe the correlation between the collection of apheresis platelet, indexes of donors' peripheral blood before blood donation and their physiological conditions.[Methods] Platelet counts (PLT) were analyzed in group mode before and after blood donation.[Results]Apheresis platelet volume positively related with PLT before blood donation (r=0.488),and related with the donor's age (r=0.206) and weight (r=0.273).[Conclusion]Indexes of donors' peripheral blood and their physiological conditions have a certain effect on apheresis platelet collection. In order to improve the collection volume and ensure the collection quality, the blood donor should be strictly screened before donation.
