Abstract
Objective:To evaluate the effects of apheresis platelets on the donor health, and observe the blood routine indexes before and after donation.Method:The blood cell parameters in blood donors before and 1 and 6 month after platelet donation were determined and analyzed.Result:The changes of white blood cell count, red blood cell count, platelet count and so on before and after platelet donation were no significant differences. Conclusion:Plateletpheresis might have no direct adverse effects on blood cell parameters and health of donors.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
