Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of platelet collection with XCF-3000 blood component apheresis separator made in China.Methods 95 units of apheresis platelets were collected by XCF-3000 blood component apheresis separator.Blood samples from these donors before platelet collection and apheresis platelet products were collected.The blood routine tests were performed respectively with KX-21N automatic blood cell analyzer.The efficiency and success rate of platelet collection,the rate of accordance of WBC and RBC in apheresis prodcuts,the adverse reactions during platelet collection from donors and following platelet transfusion to patients,were measured and investigated respectively.Results The average of platelet yield,succeed rate and efficiency of platelet collection were respectively(2.83±0.46)×1011/bag,71.58%,and(54.2±7.48)%.The rates of accordance of WBC and RBC were 97.89% and 12.63% comparing with the standard of apheresis platelet quality control.No adverse reactions was observed.Conclusion The success rate and efficiency of platelet collection,and the rate of accordance of WBC with XCF-3000 blood component apheresis separator are approximately similar to that with imported machines,only the rate of accordance of RBC is relatively lower than the imported machines.
