Abstract

Objective To study relationship between different coronary lesions and heart rate variability(HRV) in coronary heart disease(CHD) patients. Methods Thirty-one patients with CHD and 27 healthy controls, the patients underwent coronary angiography(CAG). All subjects were performed 24-hour ambulatory electrocardiogram to obtain the parameters of HRV , including time domain and frequency domain. Results Compared with the control groups ,the values of HRV significantly reduced in CHD patients. There were statistical differences in different vessel disease groups and narrowing disease groups. Conclusion Analysis of HRV is a sensitive and noninvasive method, it could be utilized quantitatively to reflect the severity of CHD patients.
