Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effect of measles supplementary immunization in Gansui Province and find out a way to eliminate measles. Methods Comprehensively analysis of the information from field investigation.Result Totally 4415374 targeted children were injected,reported coverage were over 95%,children with no immunization certificates and zero dose immunization were among 8-12 months infants.The seroconversion rate,the GMT and successful rate of immunization are 100%,7998.34 and 99.04%.Conclusions Measles cases decreased remarkably after measles supplementary immunization in Gansu Province;follow-up campaign after 4-5 years should be considered if routine coverage could not improve in some special regions.
