Guiding and Standarding: the Countermeasures to Promote Women to Take Part in Villagers’ Self-government

The current status of rural women taking part in villagers' self-government is not satisfied. There are some reasons influencing the women to take part in the villagers' self-government, such as the influence of traditional feudal idea, the lack of regular procedures for selection and the existence of the clan discrimination in the countryside. Therefore, guiding the women to change the idea with advanced policies, establishing regular selecting law and selecting women cadres are essential to promote the rural women taking part in villagers' self-government.
