Abstract
Multidrug resistance (MDR) of cancer cells is a major cause of failure in chemotherapy. The mechanism of multidrug resistance is vary, while much attention was paid on the expression of ABC(ATP binding cassette) transporter. This paper provides a review on the hotspots of current MDR research. Moreover, the recent progress in the field of MDR reversal is also briefly introduced.
