Abstract
A strain that has a capability to degrade crude oil was isolated from the extracted oil waste water. The strain could use crude oil as a sole carbon source. It was primarily identified as pseudomonas sp based on the morphological and physio-biochemical characteristics.Under the optimal growth conditions, with substrate concentration of 0.5 g/L,density of NaCl 30 g/L,pH of 8,temperature of 30℃,rotating rate of 140 r/min,and inoculation amount of 3%.The crude oil could be degraded in the high efficiency, more than 68%.The result of experiment showed that the strain could be used in the bioremediation of marine oil pollution.
