Abstract
Objective: To analyze the effect of Azithromycin on IgA,IgG,IgM levels and T lymphocyte subsets( TLS) in children with Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia( MPP). Methods: Eighty- six MPP children were selected as study objects, and then they were divided into observation group( 43 children) and control group( 43 children) according to random number table; the children in control group were treated with Erythromycin, while the children in observation group were treated with Azithromycin; immunoglobulins and TLS before and after treatment in the two groups were compared. Results: The levels of serum IgG and IgM in observation group after treatment were( 10. 37 ± 2. 38) g /L and( 1. 74 ± 0. 22) g /L,respectively,which were statistically significantly lower than those before treatment( 12.60 ±3.45) g/L and( 1.99 ±0.34) g/L,respectively( P 0.05); after treatment, serum IgG and IgM levels in observation group were statistically significantly lower than those in control group( P 0. 05); after treatment, serum IgA levels in observation group and control group were( 0. 91 ± 0. 33) g /L and( 0. 92 ± 0. 23) g /L,respectively,compared with before treatment( 0. 93 ± 0. 47) g /L and( 0. 94 ±0. 52) g /L,there was no statistically significant difference( P 0. 05); in observation group, the level of CD4 + and CD4 + /CD8 + ratio after treatment were( 46. 38 ± 5. 07) and( 1. 45 ± 0. 25),respectively,which were statistically significantly higher than those before treatment( 41. 77 ± 5. 34 and 1. 21 ± 0. 45) and after treatment in control group( 44. 12 ± 5. 18 and 1. 34 ± 0. 23)( P 0. 05); CD8 + level after treatment in observation group was( 30. 12 ± 4. 13),which was statistically significantly lower than that before treatment in observation group( 34. 67 ± 6. 04) and after treatment in control group( 32. 10 ± 4. 56)( P 0. 05). Conclusion: Azithromycin can significantly improve immunoglobulin levels of MPP children, optimize TLS situation and the curative effect is significant, which is worth clinical popularizing.
