Abstract

Objective:To observe the effect of WD in treating c ombined hypertension and hyperlipemia.Method:278 patients were randomly divided into two groups.146 patients in the treatment group were treated with modified WD,132 patients in the control group were treated with captopil and fenofibr ate. Both the two groups were treated for 12 weeks.Result:In the treatment group, 72 cases significantly effective,67 cases effective,7 cases ineffective, the tota l effective rate was 95.2%(95%CI=91.7%~98.7%);While in the control group,50 cas es significantly effective, 42 cases effective,40 cases ineffective, the total ef fective rate was 69.7%(95%CI=61.9%~77.5%).The difference between the two groups in total effect was notable(u=3.4351,P=0.0008).The treatment group was supe rior to the control group in lowering diastolic pressure and blood lipid.Conclus ion:WD has better therapeutic effect than captopil and fenofibrate in treati ng combined hypertension and hyperlipemia.OR=0.12(95%CI=0.04~0.34),NNT=4(95%CI= 2.91~5.99).
