Using Ultrasonographic and Pathological Classification to Analyse Acute Appendicitis

Objective Using ultrasonography to discuss the association about clinical classification of acute appendicitis.Methods 264 cases of pathologically confirmed acute appendicitis were analyzed after operation,which were all checked by ultrasonography before.Results In 264 acute appendicitis patients,215 patients were found by ultrasonography(81.44%).In all of these 215 patients,simple appendicitis were 14,suppurative appendicitis were 119,gangrenous appendicitis were 76 and appendiceal abscess were 6.Conclusion Ultrasonography had important clinical value for different types of ultrasonic diagnosis of acute appendicitis.
