Abstract
The finite-element analysis process of a car body at concept design phase is discussed. We build the finite-element model of the car body, calculate the Mechanical parameters with the simplified beam section and the stiffness of five main joints according to the mechanical feature of the joints, and simulate the joints with spring and rigid elements. The torsional and bending stiffness and modes of the car are calculated, which are compared with the detailed design results, and the it is showed that the simulation is reasonable and can be used to predict the performance of car body.
A significance statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
A contribution statement is not available in the OpenAlex record.
Method details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Findings are not separately available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Limitations are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
Application details are not available in the OpenAlex metadata.
